Scholarships help make Butler even more affordable! Once you apply for admission and activate your Butler account you can apply for scholarships. Keep in mind, deadlines and application processes vary, so be sure to check the details for each.
Butler offers many scholarships to help you pay for school. Some require both a separate application and a completed FAFSA. Keep in mind that you can often apply for both this and next year's scholarships at the same time.
Academic scholarships are awarded based on your grades and/or test scores.

These scholarships are provided as an incentive for students who could not or would not otherwise enroll in technical programs at Butler. Awards are based on full-time or half-time enrollment. The student must provide other costs themselves. Students can receive this scholarship for up to 4 semesters if they meet the following criteria each semester:
These are provided by various departments to students who wish to participate in activities such as athletics, livestock judging, radio/television, theatre, music, spirit squad, academic peer tutoring and the Student Government Association. Scholarship selection and award is determined by the activity sponsor or division.
In most cases, you can pursue any degree major and still receive a scholarship, but it is important to understand the details of your desired scholarship.

Athletics: Contact athletics@butlercc.edu to learn about athletic office and athletic training scholarships. Sports scholarships are only available to students recruited by coaches.

These limited scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to any re-entry student who has not attended high school or college courses during the past 12 months, does not have a college degree and is not eligible to receive a Pell Grant. Students must have completed high school in the United States or received their GED at least 12 months prior to application. The student is required to pay for books and fees; the college pays the tuition for the classes, for a maximum of 6 credit hours. These are one time, one semester scholarships that are non-renewable. The State of Kansas scholarship program covers tuition, fees, and books for eligible Kansas residents enrolled in specific academic programs. It is a ‘last dollar’ scholarship program that covers eligible charges after all other scholarships and grants are applied. Military family members and military dependents are eligible for benefits from My CAA and military assistance scholarships when attending Butler.
1. First, you must apply to Butler.
2. Second, follow your respective enrollment steps.
3. Third, if you are interested in any Military Family Assistance Scholarships, download our application, fill it out, and bring in his/her military dependent ID card along with the application to be verified by a Butler Employee.
Eligibility Requirements:
EXCEPTION: Current high school students do NOT have to provide high school transcript for this award; Code 4538.
Students are responsible for all fees and books.
