Our agriculture program has a long history at Butler. We cover agricultural industry areas like animal science, agribusiness, farm and ranch management, crops and soils, pre-veterinary medicine and livestock production management. Our graduates leave with confidence in their education and transfer to some of the country's top four-year agriculture programs.

Plant a Seed at Butler

Unique course offerings like food science help you explore different facets of Ag. Exposure to and hands-on experience with the high tunnel and hydroponics practices complement your crop knowledge. Our Ag facilities are along the southern edge of our El Dorado campus. The complex comprises of pasture, corrals, cattle chutes, and room for indoor animal management, along with learning labs and indoor arena.

What You Can Do with an Agriculture Degree 

Transfer to a university or begin your career in positions like
