Butler's Exercise Community

At Butler you’ll learn how to implement and apply results of a VO2 Max test and other performance-based tests. You’ll also conduct and interpret motion analysis in our workout and lab facility, and help train Grizzly teams using sports science. Our experienced instructors offer you the knowledge and tools to properly guide athletes to a healthy exercise regimen.

Hands On, Real World

Our program is designed to provide you with strong connections to other professionals in the field, readying you for internship opportunities and a rewarding career in exercise science. In addition, Exercise Science majors can gain real-world experience by shadowing Lead Instructor Bryce Winklepleck in his role as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the women’s volleyball and soccer teams.
