Enrollment

Once you have successfully applied to Butler you can officially enroll by completing the following steps. You are considered officially enrolled once you have met with an advisor and picked classes.

Make an Appointment

Next, you can apply for financial aid and scholarships to help you pay for your degree.

Placement is required for English and Math at Butler. This is determined by submitting your transcripts and taking a placement test if required. In addition to English and Math, testing is available for those looking to test out of other college courses and earn credit for what they already know as well as GED testing.

Official college transcripts and/or military credit can be sent (from the sending institution) electronically to registrar@butlercc.edu or mailed to:

    Butler Community College
    Attn: Registrar
    901 S Haverhill Rd
    El Dorado, KS 67042

When you're ready to pick your classes, our academic advisors will help you every step of the way. Your advisor will review your transcripts and test scores, discuss your degree plan, majors of interest, and help you schedule classes. Be sure to bring a copy of your ACT/SAT test scores and high school or previous college transcripts to your first meeting. Those in the military community looking to use benefits must inform their advisors. You can schedule an in-person or remote appointment, or come in during walk-in hours.
