At Butler, we’re proud to support those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Whether you're active duty, a veteran, or a military family member, we’re here to help you navigate your benefits and make college affordable. There are many options available to help pay for your education, and we’ll walk you through each step.
VA Education Benefits
Butler is approved by the Kansas State Approving Agency for training veterans, active duty personnel, and eligible family members under multiple chapters of the GI Bill. We assist with the following benefit chapters:
- Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33)
- Montgomery GI Bill® – Active Duty (Chapter 30)
- Montgomery GI Bill® – Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606)
- Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (Chapter 35)
- Veteran Readiness and Employment (Chapter 31)
You can check the rates for VA education benefits to find out how much money you can get for your education based on your Chapter.
Military Tuition Assistance for Active Service Members
Active service members may qualify for Military Tuition Assistance (TA) through their branch of service. This program can cover up to 100% of tuition and fees.
