Our experienced instructors give you an understanding of federal and state law through a dynamic curriculum. You’ll feel confident knowing how to assess situations and use prevention, intervention, treatment and aftercare strategies.

Gain the skills you need for criminal investigation, criminal law and criminology in our designated criminal justice and public safety building where you’ll interact with industry professionals from FEMA and other regional law enforcement groups through workshops hosted on campus.

Getting a public safety degree means you can earn your education and apply it immediately. Doing so at Butler means it costs less while you learn from experienced instructors in real-life, real-world situations. 

What You Can Do with a Public Safety Degree 

Our instructors will give you the building blocks to earn your bachelor’s degree at a four-year university and eventually start your career in positions like:
