Learn to Experiment at Butler

Earn your associate degree in Chemistry at Butler and participate in lab experiments that challenge your critical thinking and teach you to analyze, synthesize and acquire data. You’ll study metallic elements and compounds and the basics of analytical chemistry.  

Important chemistry lessons involve the intricacies of atomic and molecular structures, chemical properties and reactions, and the fundamentals of nuclear and organic chemistry. 

We Live in a Chemical World 

By working one-on-one with your instructors in the lab, you gain hands-on experience, individualized attention and collaboration with fellow students.  

Our instructors help you solve problems surrounding chemical equilibriums, solubility products and thermodynamics. You’ll also learn to calculate like a chemist as you experiment with solvents, learn the composition and structure of matter and how matter forms.
