Butler's certification program prepares you to take the licensing exam approved by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) for operators of assisted living, residential healthcare, home plus and adult day care facilities. Your training will cover the management of every aspect of the services provided in these facilities, including food preparation, socialization activities, the protection of residents' rights and dignity, and the development and administration of service plans.
Option A: Possess a Baccalaureate degree in any area of study
Option B: Possess an Associate degree in a relevant field as determined by Health Occupations Credentialing
Option C: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with one-year relevant experience per Health Occupations Credentialing.
